Dr. Condren Berry
How Dr. Berry Discovered Chiropractic
While studying at the University of Winnipeg, Dr. Berry's mother experienced a severe back and sciatic flare-up. Traditional medical care provided only temporary relief through pain medication, but chiropractic treatment genuinely improved her condition. That experience planted the seed for a career change.
Inspired by what he'd witnessed firsthand, Dr. Berry earned his Bachelor of Science degree, then moved to Toronto to enroll at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) — one of Canada's most respected chiropractic programs. He graduated in 1991 and returned west to establish Okanagan Chiropractic Center in Penticton, where he has practiced ever since.
A Wellness-Focused Approach
After more than 35 years in practice, Dr. Berry remains as passionate about chiropractic care as the day he started. His clinical philosophy centres on the body's innate ability to heal itself — and the importance of removing barriers to that healing.
"When nerve interference blocks the body's ability to heal, we eliminate it so the body can work to the best of its ability."
Every treatment plan begins with a thorough one-on-one consultation. Dr. Berry takes the time to understand each patient's unique health history, lifestyle, and goals before making any recommendation. There are no cookie-cutter adjustments — only individualized care built around the person sitting in front of him.
He works alongside Dr. Tamara Kornelsen and Dr. Maia Pidperyhora, together forming a team with complementary expertise that has served the South Okanagan for over three decades.

He also enjoys skiing during the winter months. His children have grown but continue to live nearby, and frequent family visits — especially with his grandson — keep life full outside the office.
