Penticton's Longest-Running
Chiropractic Practice
Three experienced chiropractors. Three convenient locations. One mission: helping the families of the South Okanagan live healthier, more active lives through natural, holistic chiropractic care.

From One Chiropractor to a Team of Three
In 1991, Dr. Condren Berry opened Okanagan Chiropractic Center on Westminster Avenue in Penticton with a simple belief: that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when nerve interference is removed. That founding philosophy hasn't changed in over three decades.
What started as a solo practice quickly grew through word-of-mouth referrals and a reputation for thorough, individualized care. Dr. Tamara Kornelsen joined the team, bringing advanced training in Active Release Technique and Applied Kinesiology. Most recently, Dr. Maia Pidperyhora — born and raised right here in the Okanagan — returned home to bring a fresh rehabilitation perspective to the practice.
Today, OCC is the busiest chiropractic office in Penticton, serving patients from Summerland to Oliver, Keremeos to Princeton, and everywhere in between.

Root Cause Care, Not Symptom Relief
What sets Okanagan Chiropractic Center apart is our commitment to finding and treating the root cause of your health concerns — not simply masking symptoms. Every treatment plan begins with a thorough one-on-one consultation, physical examination, and an individualized care plan designed specifically for you.
No two patients are alike, and no two treatment plans should be either. Whether you're recovering from a car accident, managing chronic back pain, or bringing your child in for their first adjustment, our approach is always the same: listen carefully, assess thoroughly, and treat the whole person.
Our track record speaks for itself — we consistently receive referrals from satisfied patients and other healthcare providers throughout the South Okanagan.

A Welcoming Environment Where You're Truly Heard
When you step into our practice, you'll first notice the warm and friendly atmosphere. From our front staff to the initial consultation, we prioritize creating a space where you feel comfortable and valued. Our team takes the time to listen — really listen — to your concerns before recommending any treatment.
We believe healthcare should be a partnership. That's why we take time to educate every patient about their condition, their treatment options, and what they can do at home to support their recovery. You'll never feel rushed, and you'll always leave with a clear understanding of your care plan.
What We Stand For
The principles that have guided our practice for over 35 years — and that guide every patient interaction.
Patient-First Care
Every decision starts with what's best for the patient. We take the time to listen, assess thoroughly, and build treatment plans around your unique needs — never a one-size-fits-all approach.
Evidence-Based Practice
Our doctors stay current with the latest advancements in chiropractic science. We combine decades of clinical experience with ongoing professional development to deliver the highest standard of care.
Family Wellness
We treat patients of every age — from newborns to seniors. Many of our families have been coming to OCC for generations, trusting us with their children the same way they trust us with their own care.
Holistic Health
We believe in the body's innate ability to heal when nerve interference is removed. Our goal isn't just to relieve pain — it's to help you achieve and maintain optimal wellness for life.
Education & Transparency
We don't just treat you — we teach you. Every patient leaves understanding their condition, their care plan, and what they can do at home to support recovery. No jargon, no mystery.
Community Roots
We live here, we raise our families here, and we're invested in the health of this community. From Penticton to Princeton to Rock Creek, we're proud to serve the people of the South Okanagan.
35+ Years Serving the South Okanagan
From a single-practitioner office to a three-doctor, three-location practice — built on trust, results, and community referrals.
Dr. Condren Berry Opens OCC in Penticton
After graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Dr. Berry establishes Okanagan Chiropractic Center at 272 Westminster Ave W in Penticton. His wellness-focused approach and thorough patient assessments quickly earn the trust of the community.
Dr. Tamara Kornelsen Joins the Team
With a Doctor of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland and advanced certifications in Active Release Technique (ART) and Applied Kinesiology, Dr. Kornelsen brings expanded clinical capabilities. Her focus on family wellness complements Dr. Berry's practice perfectly.
Expansion to Princeton & Rock Creek
Recognizing the need for chiropractic care in rural communities beyond Penticton, OCC opens satellite offices in Princeton (at Vermilion Chiropractic Center, 139 Vermilion Ave) and Rock Creek (100 Rock Creek Cutoff Road) — extending care to the Boundary and Similkameen regions.
Dr. Maia Pidperyhora Returns Home
Born and raised in the Okanagan, Dr. Maia earns her Doctor of Chiropractic at CMCC in Toronto and returns home to join OCC. She brings a unique rehabilitation background — having worked as a Rehabilitation Assistant in pediatrics and total hip and knee replacements — that strengthens the team's clinical depth.
The Busiest Chiropractic Office in Penticton
With over 60 years of combined clinical experience, three doctors, three locations, and a 4.8-star Google rating, OCC continues to be the most trusted chiropractic practice in the South Okanagan. Dr. Tamara Kornelsen and Dr. Maia Pidperyhora are currently accepting new patients. Dr. Berry has a full practice but continues to see his established patients.
Invested in Penticton
OCC has called Penticton home since 1991 — and we believe a healthy community is bigger than the patients who walk through our door.

Proud Sponsor of Joe Cornett-Ching · Car #36
We're a proud supporter of local Penticton racing legend Joe Cornett-Ching, driver of the #36 Late Model car competing in the WESCAR series at Penticton Speedway. A past Penticton Speedway Late Model Champion, multi-event winner, and Sportsman of the Year award recipient — Joe is also known around the pits as the go-to guy whenever anyone needs a helping hand. You can catch our logo on his car all race season long.
Pen High Bursary
Each year, OCC donates a bursary to a Penticton Secondary School Grade 12 student pursuing continuing education. We believe in investing in the next generation of our community — whether they grow up to be chiropractors, teachers, tradespeople, or anything else.
